Bruti: A Hidden Gem

Bruti truly depicts a picture of how beautiful our Country really is. Its natural view takes your breath away for a moment. This scenic beauty is situated in the Margalla Hills of Islamabad and really feels like the mini version of the Kumrat Valley in Swat.

There are many routes that lead up to the actual waterfall among which, the easiest to climb is from Loh-e-Dandi, a historical Landmark itself. This majestic beauty is just 3 KMs away from Bari Imam and it takes about 20-30 mins to reach this beautiful place from Loh-e-Dandi car parking.

It has gained a great attraction for tourism over the last couple of years and has become an attractive spot for youngsters who love to hike, enjoy the waterfalls and take a swim. Bruti waterfall has many crystal clear hygienic beautiful ponds. You can easily reach the first pond in around 20 minutes from the parking lot. The track is easy to climb.

As you move along the track, it becomes a bit slippery and the hike gets difficult, but you can easily find more and more clearer water and fresh air as you move along the way to the top of the waterfall. If you go all the way up, it takes about an hour and a half to reach the top and 45-50 minutes to get all the way down but believe me, its worth it. This scenic beauty is truly one of my personal favorites.

Bruti waterfall is basically an amazing hidden tourist attraction place. Where people from all over Pakistan like to visit. In addition to the overall beauty of Islamabad, the Bruti waterfall truly gives you the feel of swimming in the heavens. Many Tourists love to visit this spot specially in summers. After hiking for long time in the steep hills of Margalla, when the Hikers get to see this picturesque art of beauty, they get their long-awaited worthy reward. The view from this remarkable spot is breath-taking.

Once a person steps into the water there, the travelers forget about their worries and enjoy at their best. They throw water on each other and sense the true value of life by feeling happy and joyous. On returning home from this gorgeous place, the tourists keep on discussing it forever and want to sense its beauty over and again.

We should be very thankful to Allah Almighty for bestowing us with such an amazing Country with tons of wonderful tourism places. Pakistan is one of the most beautiful tourism countries of the world having such attractive places that make the tourists go lost within themselves. Bruti was one of them.
