Mansehra is a land of tremendous beauty and a gateway to Pakistan's major tourist places. No doubt the well-known tourist places like Naran hold marvelous beauty, but due to a large number of tourists coming there, many people find it hard to go there. There are other many magnificent places that are not known by the masses. Among those places, there are the 3 most beautiful valleys in Mansehra District Siran Valley, Konsh Valley, and the most famous Kaghan Valley.

1. Siran Valley

The valleys are one of the most beautiful valleys in the district and have magnificent meadows and mountains. You can enter this valley through Main Shinkiari Road which is linked to Hazara Motorway at Shinkiari Bazar. It takes almost 3 to 4 hours to reach the middle of the valley.

Some of the most iconic places to visit here are, Dadar, Jabori, Mundi Meadows, Plaeja Meadows, Kunali Meadows, and Mandagucha Waterfalls. These areas are full of lush green fields with different types of evergreen flowers. The mountain peaks are covered with snow throughout the year. And the tall deodar and chir trees add up to the beauty of the valley.

The fish of Siran river is very famous here, its taste is immaculate. One who visits this valley cannot resist himself from trying its fish. The weather here is pleasant but with a twist. You can expect a heavy rainfall or hailstorm at any time of the day followed by a cool breeze. Which makes a person crave snacks especially, Pakoras.

As the valley is amazingly beautiful, the dangerous it is. The weather is unexpected, you can be stuck in a heavy rainfall followed by hailsotrms, which then cause the landslide. Roads might get blocked for several hours leaving you in a dark forest. So, it's better to take proper measures before visiting here.

2. Konsh Valley

Konsh Valley is located at the extreme north of the Mansehra District. The Silk route or Karakoram Highway passes through this valley to Gilgit. Battal is considered as a center of Konsh Valley, and the Battal Bazar is the only and famous Bazar here. The most beautiful places to visit here are Sathan Gali and Meadows of Bahisti.

You can reach here through Chinarkot Interchange at Hazara Motorway. The Battal Bazar is the most iconic Bazar in this valley. The Bazar has a different kind of cultural beauty, still having old shops and 4x4 jeeps standing throughout the Bazar. The Bazar is a gateway to 2 different sites, One is Chattar Plain and the other is Sathan Gali.

The Sathan Gali mountains are covered with tall deodar trees formed into a dense dark forest. Roads were very dangerous here, but now they are in a quite good condition. The journey is more beautiful than the destination. You feel like flying through the mountains and experience it like never before.

Konsh Valley and Siran Valley are side by side, so you can easily see Siran Valley from the top of Sathan Gali. Unlike Siran valley, there are many small streams flowing through the valley and then all merge together into Siran river. Along with the streams, there are numerous villages and lush green fields that describe a Heaven on Earth.

Bahishti or Phishti meadows is the most beautiful site to visit. But there isn't any road to the top of the mountain. You have to hike straight up into the mountain for about 3 hours from both Chattar Plain or Sathan Gali, but it is worth it. There is no other place like this, a lush green ground with yellow flowers, snow-covered mountains in the background, and a cool gust of wind blowing through different directions feels like a Bahist (paradise).

3. Kaghan Valley

Kaghan valley is the most famous tourist attraction point is also a part of the Mansehra District. The valley elevates from the lowest elevation of 650m to its highest point of 4,170 m at Babusar Pass. Unlike other valleys discussed above, this valley was a point of attraction for many tourists from Pakistan and around the globe because of the facilities here. You can get a hotel or resort to spend your night. But Konsh valley or Siran Valley has very few resorts and hotels that's why they are not very much known.
