Travel and tourism has great association with
other industries in the national economy making major indirect earns and also

Pakistan has rich potential of tourism due to its rich culture, geographical
and biological diversity, and history. Tourism has developed as an instrument
for creating considerable economic gains. The country has various tourist
destinations at Swat, Buner, Malam Jabba, Behrain, Kalam, Shangla, Balakot,
Kaghan, Naran, Ayoubia, Murree, Chitral, Gilgit Baltistan, Hunza, and Neelam
valleys. Its said that happiness comes in valleys and mountains. Many of the
Doctors recommend to visit such areas as its very helpful in releasing stress
and depression. It’s the nature that talks to the person making him/her feel
relaxed.
One of most astonishing destination to visit is Buner Valley
of KPK Pakistan. It lies on the border of KPK. It is a small mountain valley,
dotted with villages and divided into four sub-divisions. The Mora
Hills and
the Elam range divide it from the Swat Valley, the Sinawar range from Yusafzai, the Guru mountains from
the Mardan Valley, and the Duma range from the Puran Valley.
There are many beautiful spots in Buner to be explored by any
Tourist. Among those the best ones are, Elum Mountain, Mahband and Shaheeda Sar. In winters after snowfall
the whole area is covered with snow
giving an eye catching view . After an amazing spell of snowfall in Shaheeda
Sar, Chagharzai an area of Buner adds more beauty to its scenic views. Shakkai,
Chagharzai Tehsil delightful Shaheeda Sar enjoys a unique position for their
stunning scenery. The area is near the area’s Swari Central Bazaar and is
easily accessible from there. This picturesque place is unique because in
addition to the snow-capped mountains of Shangri-La and Torgha. From this
place, you can see the world’s second-highest mountain K-2.
Between the two towering mountains, Elum and Dua suary Ghar lies the shrine of Syed Ali Shah Tirmizi called Pir Baba (Rahmatullahi Allaih) in District Buner, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Pir Baba, (R.A) who is considered to be the earliest saint of the province, is spiritually higher than these two mountains between which he was buried in 1583. Passing through a narrow market and narrow streets one can finally reach a huge mosque and shrine of Pir Baba (R.A) with a deep green dome. The shrine is surrounded by very old tall trees. There’s a lush green graveyard to the west. One can also find faqirs around carrying bowls for charities.
Buner valley is one of
great natural places to visit with a lot of cultural and social values. Great
views to capture and soulful Sufism environment also help one to get his/her
soul relaxed.
Visiting the different
valleys and mountains keeps a person relaxed, happy & healthy. So one
should explore nature and seek into different aspects of everything created.
